Draw the streets, zone Hab, Market and Fab, and watch the Undercity take shape. Keep the power on and the data flowing, and the city grows upwards. Shacks become Midlevel slabs. Slabs become Spire towers, glowing above the slums below.
Neon nights. Red smog. Falling ash. Acid storms with green lightning cracking over the towers.
The weather shifts as the years pass, changing the mood of your city. Every new city gets its own neon palette, so no two skylines ever look quite the same.
Cargo barges lift off from the mast and drift between the towers. Drones ferry freight across the city. Police flyers sweep their searchlights over the poorer districts after dark.
Get close enough to see a single lit window, or pull back until the whole city dissolves into neon and haze.
Power, data, growth, unrest. The city has a lot going on beneath the surface.
Use detailed overlays to see how everything connects. Spot the block that’s about to go dark or the district on the verge of boiling over. The Intel drawer keeps track of your money, your population and the reasons people leave.
When things get desperate, the megacorps come knocking. A representative arrives with a fat cheque and an offer to take a district off your hands.
Sign the deal and they’ll fence it off for good. Their influence spreads a little further every few years. The money helps. What you give up is another matter.
